Bootcamp at AJIO

Techsters 2019

We recently welcomed young engineers from across the country to attend our three-week boot camp, a compact program conducted by experts from different business units and sub-organizations. The Techsters, as we call them, were introduced to the entire gamut of technological operations at Reliance through hands-on sessions.

Although they impressed us with their talent from day one, our mentors gave them individualized guidance at every stage with the core objective of molding them into excellent problem solvers. We enjoyed every bit of hosting this curious bunch and sharing our knowledge with them.

After three-weeks of fun and learning, we asked our newly-recruited Techsters at AJIO to share their experience at the boot camp.  Needless to say, their charming personalities and youthful enthusiasm are a perfect fit for AJIO.

What are your biggest takeaways from this boot camp?

The AJIO boot camp has been a great learning experience for me. I have learnt a lot of valuable lessons from my mentor, including the importance of being disciplined and having a never stop learning attitude. These two values are my biggest takeaways and I will try to implement them as much as I can in my day to day activities.

What was your favourite part of the boot camp? 

The boot camp gave me an opportunity to interact and work with the industry’s top leaders. Their guidance and direction has helped me gain a deeper understanding of the various tech tools available in the market, this was definitely my favourite part of the boot camp.

What was the best part of your experience at the boot camp?

At AJIO boot camp, we were constantly encouraged to self-learn. Even with mentors to guide us at every step of the way, we were asked not to rely on them for answers, but to go to them for direction and guidance. This was the best part of the boot camp because it taught me how to be independent and helped boost my confidence. Another cool thing about the boot camp was that, it gave me an opportunity to work with the Industry’s best tech gurus. I will never forget this experience.

What are your biggest takeaways from the boot camp?

At the boot camp, I learned the use of many new tech tools. This three-week training program also helped me realize the stark difference between college and corporate life, but at the same time gave me a chance to smoothen my way into the latter. Most importantly, it has helped me become a more disciplined and goal-oriented person than I was before. These are my biggest takeaways from the boot camp.

How would you describe your experience at the boot camp?

I had a wonderful learning experience at the boot camp. From my discussions with mentors and tech leaders, I realized that AJIO has managed to cultivate an environment that is conducive to learning and growth especially, for freshers. I know this for a fact because in the beginning, my learning curve was very steep. But, as days went by, I was able to garner a deeper understanding of the new tools in the industry and its uses.

What are your biggest takeaways from this boot camp?

The boot camp felt a little like my college classroom because it had more than 100 students, but the learning was spot on. Today, I’m able to apply a lot of what I learned at the training, in my current job. My biggest takeaway from the boot camp is that learning is a combined effort of self-learning and tutorship. And this exactly why AJIO’s work environment is so brilliant. AJIOites are encouraged to learn and explore by themselves. At the same time, they have all the freedom to seek guidance from the experts, when in need of direction.
